Sunday Reads

This is coming to you all rather LATE, and I apologize for that. My poor kiddo had some tummy troubles, so we were up late. I need a good sleep to function also, so it’s taken me a bit to get things going today! It is early afternoon here and I try to get this posted in the early morning in my time zone.

Anyway, here are some books to check out and read. CLICK BOOK COVER IMAGES to grab a copy of the book that peaks your interest 🙂

All are KU if you like to test out new authors first .

What would you sacrifice for the one you love?

A cursed dragon hunter. A half-blood mage. An attraction that lights the world on fire.

Seventeen-year-old Lia keeps having the same terrifying nightmare: A handsome, silver-eyed boy transforms into a dragon and then begs for her to kill him. She chalks up the nightmare to an overactive imagination. Until the day the boy from her dreams arrives at her doorstep and shatters everything she’s known to be true…

Kieren’s battled his fair share of monsters. But when he’s cursed to become a dragon, he realizes far more dangerous creatures lurk in the shadows… and someone is out for his blood.

Lia and Kieren must work together to uncover the dark secrets from their pasts. Their quest for answers has far-reaching consequences, both for the fate of their worlds and for their hearts.

Half-Blood Mage is the enthralling first novel in the Light and Fire Series. Epic worlds, high-stakes adventure, forbidden magic and a delicious slow-burn romance, this YA portal fantasy will leave you hungry for more.

Ethan Caulson had always led an ordinary life and it did not bother him much until the passing of his father. With the looming threat of his own mortality, he begins to look inward to try and determine what it is he wants out of life.

When he discovers he inherited “The Sight” from his ancestors, his past decides to threaten his future, his life turns into a turmoil, and it won’t leave his present alone. “The Sight” will drive him towards an uncertain goal he is not sure he can stop.

One thing is for certain–his life and the one of those around him will not be ordinary anymore.

A plague. A prophecy. A centuries-long curse.

All her life, Princess Adalina heard tales of the legendary, immortal warriors known as the Nihryst. Cursed and bound to a deck of tarot cards by her ancestors, the Nihryst were stranded on a remote island nearly a century and a half earlier.

Her brother, Prince Shane, is destined to rule the kingdom of Detmarya. Though preparing for this role has encompassed his entire life, control of the kingdom may come sooner than expected due to their father’s sporadic behavior.

Discovering the king’s plan to set a war in motion with a mass assassination, Ada unwittingly joins a crew of pirates in search of the only beings powerful enough to stop him: the Nihryst. Meanwhile, Shane and a group of underground rebels make a haunting discovery of a plague infecting the streets of Detmarya.

With a looming deadline to save multiple kingdoms and thousands of innocent lives, both royal siblings join quests worthy of Ada’s beloved fairy tales.
